Job Description

Engineering & Innovation Support: Represent customer applications and requirements during the design of coaters, components, targets, hardware, and software. Provide application-level expertise to guide engineering decisions and rotary sputtering target development. Sales Enablement: Support customer interactions from the earliest opportunity identification through concept development, testing, and final acceptance. Application Ownership: Manage the full value creation process, including post-sales technical support that leads to new developments and long-term customer partnerships. Technology Showcasing: Actively work in and with the state-of-the-art Application Center to support customer projects, internal innovation, and technology demonstrations. Global Customer Focus: Travel globally to visit customers, support onsite application discussions, troubleshoot challenges, and act as a trusted technical partner.

Requirements

  • Ideally >10 years of experience in an industrial setting within vacuum coating, sputtering, thin-film processes, glass coating industry, or a closely related field
  • Highly relevant experience in customer-facing technical roles such as application engineering, process engineering, or advanced technical sales
  • Master's degree in engineering or sciences, or equivalent through extensive experience
  • Fluent English is required
  • A working knowledge of Chinese is a strong additional asset
