Job Description:

The Floor Supervisor will assist with managing overall store operations and assume primary responsibility for store operations in the absence of the General Manager and/or Assistant Managers. The Floor Supervisor will also assist in managing and directing staff to achieve company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail management experience preferred
  • Hardware experience preferred

  • Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing

  • Proactively assist customers

  • Help ensure safe forklift operations
  • Assist with receiving and stocking
  • Assist with back stock maintenance
  • Assist with cycle counts
  • Assist with merchandise resets
  • Ensure signage is current
  • Present a clean sales floor
  • Lead by example
  • Assist in training
  • Participate in store meetings
  • Communicate ideas to General Manager
  • Prepare for advancement
