This Accountant will serve as a core owner of the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial records. The role is responsible for maintaining balance sheet accounts, supporting month‑end close, and partnering with leadership to improve financial accuracy and visibility.
Job Responsibility:
Own and maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accurate classification and posting
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclasses
Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances
Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities
Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP
Support audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
Maintain strong internal controls and accounting documentation
Identify process improvements to strengthen close efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3–6+ years of accounting experience with heavy GL ownership
Deep understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
