Requirements

5+ years of experience in Payroll accounting, GL accounting, or a related area
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency in large ERP system (Oracle Fusion, Workday)
Advanced Excel skills with experience in data analysis
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Job Responsibility

Take ownership of global payroll related month-end activities including journal entries, accruals, estimates, and reconciliations
Perform variance and flux analysis on employee expenses, benefits costs, and various payroll balance sheet accounts
Assist in audits by preparing PBC schedules, compiling supporting documentation, and offering detailed insights into payroll processes to facilitate both internal and external audits
Collaborate with Payroll Operations, FP&A, Tax, Legal, HR and other cross-functional teams to gather data, improve processes, and support business needs
Participate in projects and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements or new implementations
Identify process improvement, automation opportunities and implement solutions to help improve efficiency and reduce risk
