Job Description

FM Conway is delighted to be recruiting a GIS Technician to join our well-established Asset Management team. As a GIS Technician, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to manage the scope, requirements and schedule of GIS projects and contribute to the growth and success of the Asset Management Services Team by carrying out spatial asset inventory updates and ensuring our operational divisions are compliant with the requirements outlined in client contracts.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the GIS Team Manager with developing sustainable geospatial solutions
  • Producing accurate GIS asset inventory updates
  • Produce cartographic map outputs and reports on geographic data
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Provide technical support to end-users

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of ArcGIS or similar software
  • Knowledge of Python to create GIS tools
  • Carried out on-site surveying
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong ability to build effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication
