Job Responsibility

  • Delivering core GIS services such as spatial analysis, cartography, data management and quality assurance
  • Supporting project teams with spatial advice and ad‑hoc GIS assistance
  • Designing and maintaining field data collection workflows and spatial schemas
  • Developing and supporting web‑based GIS applications and dashboards
  • Undertaking spatial and temporal analysis across environmental and geoscientific datasets
  • Contributing to remote sensing projects, automation initiatives and workflow improvements
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated spatial solutions
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Keeping up to date with emerging GIS and spatial data trends and technologies

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in GIS or Remote Sensing (Civil) or equivalent
  • Passion for learning and problem-solving
  • Australian Citizen, PR or NZ Citizen
  • Recently graduated or 1-2 years post-graduation
