Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced GIS candidate who can help advance our GIS and mapping capabilities. The position will be focused on supporting the Data & Delivery team by managing the day-to-day GIS mapping/annotations for our AI Machine Learning technology Blyncsy.AI, and support for other staff (including demos, system training and correspondence).

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with the Blyncsy Data & Delivery team to run Blyncsy.AI implementations and projects with customers globally
  • GIS mapping, annotations, Blyncsy.AI projects and support for our products
  • Collection, manipulation, analysis, and visualization of spatial data
  • Covering multiple types of data, classifications, and coordinating reference systems (CRS)
  • Provide integral feedback on the product (and company) road map
  • Organization and effective time management are critical to meeting project deadlines and client deliveries

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in GIS support or related field
  • Experience with GIS/mapping and geospatial concepts
  • Ability to speak professionally to customers, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Ability to explore new mapping tools and put them to use through trial and error
  • Be able to work independently with customers to understand requirements and collaboratively develop solutions
  • An ability to think critically about logistics and help drive the process
  • History of working well with a small, cross-functional team
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • This position may require some travel
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements)
