Job Responsibility

  • Assist with researching, editing, compiling, and analyzing geographic information
  • Assist with developing and maintaining spatial databases, products and services
  • Assist with the creation of production quality maps and web mapping applications
  • Assist with geocoding, geo-referencing, digitizing, or other data collection methods
  • Contribute to the preparation of tables, charts, reports, and presentations

Requirements

  • Coursework in geography, environmental studies, computer science, planning or a related field
  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS software, SQL databases, and Python are desirable
  • Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively across various audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Ability to complete assignments that involve researching, analyzing, and synthesizing geographic information into written summaries, reports, or recommendations
