Job Responsibility:

  • Provide general insurance advice and consulting services to a range of diverse clients including insurers, banks and regulators
  • Cover areas such as: solvency
  • economic capital
  • risk management
  • mergers and acquisitions
  • company restructuring and risk control
  • financial modelling
  • underwriting
  • new legislation
  • and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes
  • Involved in pricing, reserving and modelling services

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in general insurance work, including Risk and capital
  • Good understanding of non-life capital models
  • Exposure to reserving and pricing within London/Lloyds market and/or the Personal & Commercial lines markets would be beneficial
  • Part-qualified or qualified GI actuary
