cBEYONData + SMX is seeking a GFEBS Financial Analyst to provide their expertise to aid in meeting our client’s business objectives. Our Consultants solve our client’s complex issues by learning the intricacies of the client’s business and recommending improvements in their organizational structure, policies, business processes, system landscape, etc. Our Consultants provide our clients with the information and data they need to improve operations and make informed business decisions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage, control, process, interpret, and analyze accounting processes and financial reports and statements
  • Conduct, formulate, execute and perform financial analysis in support of client programs
  • Analyze, triage, and resolve GFEBS helpdesk tickets
  • Perform support of the client's ERP systems with a focus on GFEBS in the areas of Defense Travel (DTS), Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt (GR/IR), Unmatched Transactions (UMTs), Procurement (ACWS, Misc. Pay, etc.), and Reimbursables
  • Develop training documents and conduct training for government staff on related topics
  • Identify strategic and operational management needs and implications for analytic, data, process, and system strategy
  • Generate and analyze Business Object (BOBJ) reports to identify problem areas and recommend corrective actions
  • Record and document business processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of process improvement and process redesign
  • Support data analysis, data cleansing and reconciliation of data across different systems
  • Review, maintain, and update standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Active SECRET security clearance required
  • Deep understanding of Army GFEBS and general SAP ERP knowledge
  • Minimum five (5) years of governmental financial experience
  • ERP Systems experience and at least three (3) years experience with GFEBS
  • BS/BA Degree with 10+ years’ experience in computer science, information systems (SAP), business, or other related scientific or technical discipline
  • in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 14+ years of equivalent relevant experience is required
