Job Description

Teacher of German (Permanent Role) for a secondary school in Horsham, West Sussex. The role is a dedicated KS3 and KS4 German position, focusing on building foundations in lower years and driving GCSE results.

Job Responsibility

  • Teaching high-energy, engaging German lessons to pupils in Years 7 to 11
  • Preparing Year 11 classes for their examinations using targeted support and innovative, confidence-building techniques
  • Creating an inclusive classroom environment where students feel enthusiastic and safe speaking a new language
  • Working alongside the MFL team on fresh ideas, cultural events, and curriculum planning

Requirements

  • Holds a degree in German (or equivalent) with near-native fluency
