Job Description:

Ensure that development demands related to IT tools used by Vodafone are clearly defined in form of epics. Liaise between customers/users providing the Business Demand and the solution groups including the developers. Act as the single point of contact until the end of the project lifecycle. Track actions and drive the project team towards the solution of the customer requests. Assess standard solutions and explore potential external solutions with the project team. Manage IT demand projects fully or partially and make status reports to the Steering Committee. Check at the end of the demand lifecycle whether objectives stated in the epics are fully met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be the key interface for capturing demand requests related to IT tool development, act as a Business Analyst
  • Be responsible for creating user stories as an input in the Agile delivery process – either as part of a team or as overall owner
  • Manage and keep track of incoming IT tool functionality improvement requests, process them via Demand Management Process
  • Assure the quality of information provided by Requestors, evaluate and qualify the demand
  • Capture the requirements regarding the development of internal IT tools
  • Create assessment documentation for every demand request
  • Evaluate potential risks and report them to appropriate stakeholders
  • Ensure all new demands are suitable for decision making and have a clear scope, create high quality epics
  • Support decision making by creating documentations (agenda, minutes)
  • Check the quality of improvements, ensure that goals are met
  • Escalate issues that require intervention
  • Provide regular status update to the management, keep all stakeholders appropriately informed
  • Give input to process improvement, to increase efficiency and effectiveness of all Demand Management process activities

Requirements:

  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • 2-3 years of Demand management, project management or business analysis experience
  • Experience of agile project methodologies
  • Communication and time management skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focus
