Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) by the ANCC
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN)Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and license in the state of practice
Prescriptive authority and DEA registration (or eligibility)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience providing psychiatric care
geriatric psychiatry experience strongly preferred
Experience in settings such as inpatient psychiatry, skilled nursing, assisted living, or outpatient geriatric programs is highly desirable
