Requirements
Ideally holding chartership and with significant demonstrable relevant experience (e.g. a minimum of 8 years in consultancy), along with a BSc degree (or equivalent) in geology, engineering geology, earth sciences, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geochemistry or environmental science
extensive experience in a broad range of ground engineering work appropriate to your skill set
extensive experience of scoping, conducting and interpreting site investigations for a wide variety of schemes including for large / tall buildings in complex urban environments, and for masterplanning
proven working knowledge guidance including BS 5930/Eurocode 7, BS10175, CIRIA 552, 665, 733 & 758, BS8485, BRE-SD1, LCRM and WM3
ability to use ground engineering software relevant to your area of expertise
ability to manage and develop more junior members of the team
proven experience in building client relationships both externally and internally
excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative and negotiating skills to overcome challenges
