The Technical Engineer (Geotechnical) is responsible for providing technical support, analysis, and design input in geotechnical engineering works. The role involves assisting in soil investigation interpretation, design of ground improvement or foundation systems, preparation of technical reports, and providing support during project execution.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising geotechnical investigations
Interpret soil investigation data and prepare geotechnical design parameters
Support in design and analysis of geotechnical solutions such as ground improvement techniques
Prepare and review technical drawings, design reports, and method statements
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors for technical clarifications
Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and troubleshooting
Ensure that all geotechnical designs and works comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications
Assist in tendering processes, including design proposals, quantity estimation, and technical submissions
Maintain documentation and ensure proper record of test results, design calculations, and site data
Participate in quality assurance and safety compliance related to geotechnical works
Requirements:
2 years experience
ground improvement or foundation construction projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
