We are currently seeking an experienced Geospatial Engineer to join our Special Projects department, based in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high‑profile, large‑scale semiconductor project within a mission‑critical environment where accuracy, innovation, and problem‑solving are essential. You will gain hands-on exposure to cutting‑edge surveying technology, workflows, and digital engineering tools within a rapidly evolving industry. You will work closely with a supportive and highly skilled team of professionals, reporting to the Geospatial Manager, and will operate primarily from our Leixlip/Dublin office.
Job Responsibility:
Work with and alongside a team of surveyors across a variety of field‑based surveying activities using advanced equipment and technologies, including: Total stations, Reality Capture scanners, GNSS/GPS equipment, and other modern survey devices
Establishing survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing, and scanning using the latest Leica technology
Accurately record surveying data on-site in line with project specifications, quality standards, and scope
Assist with both field and office‑based surveying assignments
Ensure all survey equipment is maintained, calibrated, and kept in optimal condition
Work in accordance with company policies, safety practices, and established standards
Perform additional duties as required by the business
Requirements:
Must be self-sufficient in terms of travel to and from the workplace
Safe Pass certified
A minimum of 3 year’s survey experience
Ability to understand construction drawings and prepare files for setout in the field
Ability to work as both part of a team and in lone-working situations occasionally
Proficient in spoken and written English
Willing and able to work overtime when required
Willingness and ability to travel and work across Europe as needed, subject to the achievement of specific career development milestones
Nice to have:
AutoCAD experience is desirable but not essential
Understanding of survey control traversing and analysis (desirable but not essential)
Degree in survey related field (desirable but not essential)
Full EU/ Irish Drivers’ license (desirable but not essential)
