Job Description:

Develop cutting-edge map technology for autonomous driving at a dynamic, innovative company. You will be a key member of a team developing map data and integrating it into next-generation autonomous driving systems. You will play a vital role in accelerating map development projects, collaborating with partners, developing map specifications, and designing the architecture for map delivery. You'll solve complex problems and contribute directly to the future of autonomous driving.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop map specifications and map data in NDS.Live format
  • Analyze basemap data from various vendors using SQL and GIS tools
  • Design and develop the architecture for a robust map delivery pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless map integration
  • Develop and maintain tools and processes for efficient map data management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mass production development of in-vehicle maps, preferably with NDS.Live format
  • Experience with map development using GIS, SQL, and relational databases
  • Experience in a map development and debugging environment
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AWS cloud services
  • Experience working with map data from multiple vendors (e.g., HERE, TomTom)
  • Experience in Linux, Docker, and cloud development is a plus
  • Understanding of AD/ADAS development principles is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Business-level Japanese language proficiency
