Job Description

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. A VIE for a Geospatial AI Business Developer & Market Analyst has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Friedrichshafen at lake Constance. You will join the team of Geospatial Business. As a Geospatial AI Business Developer & Strategic Marketing Analyst, under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Geospatial AI-driven business by supporting a business-wide (Gen)AI strategic initiative accountable. This role will involve potential travel for business up to several times per month in Europe.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver Market Intelligence on AI driven Geospatial Mapping Solutions Market (competition, opportunities, trends…)
  • Contribute to the Definition of the overall Business Strategy (vision, value proposition, positioning, business models…)
  • Support Third-party engagement activities (e.g. customers) & partnerships, consolidating the future sales pipeline
  • Support of the overall product definition, key features consolidating the different technology roadmaps

Requirements

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
  • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
  • Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28
  • Engineering Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science or Data Science
  • Qualification and Experience Strategic Management, International Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in strategy, marketing, business development, sales, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Experience with sales and marketing tools (Salesforce, Hubspot) and Google Suite
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
  • Fluent English is a must

French and/ or German would be a plus
