Job Responsibility:

  • Applies advanced knowledge gained via a STEM degree and internal training to perform detailed production, nuclear spectroscopy, acoustics and electro- magnetics analyses of highly-specialized sensor data obtained from hydrocarbon reservoirs
  • Performs analyses using highly specialized scientific methods such as interpreting algorithms and workflows that translate the measured data into hydrocarbon reservoir rock and fluid properties
  • Compiles the resulting analyses and their findings in a report that is provided to oil and gas company customers
  • Uses discretion in selecting the parameters used in the analyses and to determine if there are quality issues with the sensor data
  • Provides analyses on data from multiple sensor types while developing analysis skills for integrated sensor interpretation
  • Routinely involved in customer engagements to review analyses and findings, and have some involvement in business development activities
  • Plans and manages own time to perform the accountabilities of job duties

Requirements:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline
  • A minimum of 1 + year of experience and possession of a graduate degree in a STEM discipline is preferred
