Job Responsibility:
Validate datum schemes, stack-ups and tolerance calculations defined by Design Leader / EPM
Support tolerance commitment during RFQ phase with Project and Product teams
Validate and define measurement scenarios in line with customer expectations
Participate actively in dimensional measurements using CMM, FARO arm and checking fixtures
Analyze measurement results and identify deviations, risks and root causes
Prepare clear and structured dimensional reports
Present findings to Project Managers and cross-functional teams to support convergence decisions
Lead Geometry Folder definition for complex or innovative projects
Ensure correct application of geometry tools and methodologies within the project
Consolidate plant dimensional capabilities to improve tolerance calculation and convergence tools
Support technical discussions with customers regarding tolerance feasibility
Estimate geometry-related project workload (hours and cost) and submit for validation
Requirements:
BS or MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in geometry / dimensional engineering within an industrial or automotive environment
Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up and datum schemes
