Job Description:

As a Geomatic Surveyor for XEIAD, part of BES Infrastructure, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of technical surveys on civil engineering and built environment assets, using technologies such as 3D laser scanning, drone surveys and traditional survey techniques. You’ll play a key role in planning and carrying out surveys, managing on-site safety and resources, and completing reports with accurate technical survey data for our clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the safe and successful delivery of geomatic surveys using laser scanning, total stations, GPS and other survey technologies
  • Support pre‑work planning, including attending site visits and reviewing safe systems of work
  • Process and manage survey data, producing accurate technical survey outputs and reports to required standards
  • Coordinate on‑site activities, resources and third‑party suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Engage professionally with clients, landowners and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
  • Contribute to the development of digital surveys and asset monitoring solutions, including the use of drones and remote technologies

Requirements:

  • Experience of delivering surveys utilising techniques such as Laser Scanning, Total Stations and GPS receivers
  • Previous experience in conducting topographical surveys
  • Strong IT skills including proficiency across the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in producing high quality survey reports
  • Highways Safety Passport and/or Railway PTS
  • UK Driving License
