Job Responsibility

Assist geologists with drill core handling and sampling
Receive drill core at camp and manage transfer to logging facilities using various small equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, and light duty vehicles
Assist with data collection by cleaning core, ensuring core box labeling is correct and consistent, collecting RQD and Recovery measurements, and photographing core boxes according to protocol
Assist with the collection of specific gravity measurements
Package core samples in preparation for shipment
Assist geology department with organization of core laydown
Support field operations, as needed
Comply with safety & health, environmental and Company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
