As a Geological Engineer for Cables and Pipelines you will be involved with the interpretation of complex geological, geotechnical, and geophysical data, which is used in 3D models created with in-house software. You can be involved in the organization and execution of marine soil investigation projects including geophysical surveys. For the execution of these tasks, world-wide travelling can be part of the job. The results of your work will feed into the installation methods for subsea cables, foundations, or other offshore infrastructure.
Job Responsibility:
Interpreting of large geotechnical and geophysical datasets
Supporting tender and projects teams with geological knowledge
Determining efficient strategies to install cables and pipelines in the seabed
Develop Burial Assessment Studies for cable installation projects
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree (Applied) Earth Sciences, with affinity for hydraulic engineering
The ambition to develop yourself as a Geological Engineer who acts as a sparring partner for the Tender and Project teams
Good communication skills, independent, taking initiative and work accurately
Willingness to go abroad or offshore when required
