Job Description

As a Geological Engineer for Cables and Pipelines you will be involved with the interpretation of complex geological, geotechnical, and geophysical data, which is used in 3D models created with in-house software. You can be involved in the organization and execution of marine soil investigation projects including geophysical surveys. For the execution of these tasks, world-wide travelling can be part of the job. The results of your work will feed into the installation methods for subsea cables, foundations, or other offshore infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Interpreting of large geotechnical and geophysical datasets
  • Supporting tender and projects teams with geological knowledge
  • Determining efficient strategies to install cables and pipelines in the seabed
  • Develop Burial Assessment Studies for cable installation projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Applied) Earth Sciences, with affinity for hydraulic engineering
  • The ambition to develop yourself as a Geological Engineer who acts as a sparring partner for the Tender and Project teams
  • Good communication skills, independent, taking initiative and work accurately
  • Willingness to go abroad or offshore when required
