Job Description

As a Geologist, you will work within the Infra Marine team of the Tender and Estimating Department at the head office located in Rotterdam. You will be involved in (inter)national dredging tenders and projects, from tendering phase to project execution. This includes challenging work at locations world-wide. From the start you will be fully involved in a multidisciplinary, dynamic and ambitious team.

Job Responsibility

  • Organise and execute geophysical surveys with inhouse systems
  • Organize and execute geotechnical investigation
  • Processing and interpretate geotechnical and geophysical data
  • Geological modelling and reporting
  • The point of contact within the team for geological related items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Applied) Earth Sciences
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ambition to develop yourself as a Geological Engineer who acts as a sparring partner for the Tender and Project teams
  • Good communication skills, independent, taking initiative and work accurately
  • Willingness to go abroad or offshore when required.
