Job Responsibility:

Delivering engaging Human and Physical Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Planning creative schemes of work that make global issues relevant to local students
Assessing student progress through regular marking and constructive feedback
Preparing exam groups (Year 11) for success with targeted revision and technique
Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a productive learning environment
Collaborating with the Humanities department to share best practices and resources
Participating in school life, including staff meetings and potential fieldwork trips
Maintaining high safeguarding standards and ensuring a safe space for all learners

Requirements:

QTS/ECT Status: A recognised teaching qualification
Subject Passion: A genuine drive to share your knowledge of the world
Adaptability: The ability to jump into different school environments and hit the ground running
Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
