Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Newham are on the hunt for a Geography Teacher for a September 2025 start. The school offers a full-time, permanent post and provides a creative learning environment for students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, along with opportunities for professional development such as a bespoke ECT induction program, TLR roles, and pastoral responsibilities. Applicants must have UK QTS and strong academic qualifications.

Job Responsibility:

Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
Working alongside a team of fantastic Humanities Teachers
TLR Opportunities: KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level
You must be able to work as part of a large team of Humanities Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback
