Job Description:

We are recruiting inspired Geography Teachers to join secondary schools across the Wirral. Whether you are an ECT looking for a supportive coastal community or an experienced teacher ready for a new challenge in one of our renowned schools, we have the perfect position for you. We have positions across West Kirby (CH48), Heswall (CH60), Bebington (CH63), Bromborough (CH62), Wallasey (CH44/CH45) and Birkenhead (CH41/CH42) with easy commutes.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3, KS4
Organise and lead high-quality fieldwork opportunities to bring the curriculum to life
Monitor and assess student progress using data to provide impactful feedback
Develop resources that align with the curriculum and current GCSE specifications
Utilise GIS software and digital tools to enhance spatial learning in the classroom
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to share best practices and resources

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A passion for Physical and Human Geography and a commitment to environmental education
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
