Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Bootle (L20). Starting this April, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to giving students a world-class understanding of the planet we live on.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Using your subject expertise to inspire students on topics from climate change to urbanisation
Contributing to a supportive and high-energy department
Managing classroom dynamics with a positive and proactive approach

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Geography or a related subject
A proven track record of managing classrooms effectively and engaging students
Availability for an April start
good behaviour management skills
good classroom management
good communication skills
knowledge of curriculum
knowledge of subject
