Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Tower Hamlets are on the hunt for a Geography Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full time and permanent position. The school offers TLR opportunities for experienced candidates, and a comprehensive bespoke ECT induction for newly qualified teachers. The school has modern facilities, impressive Progress 8 results, and impeccable student behavior throughout.

Job Responsibility:

Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
Working alongside a team of fantastic Humanities Teachers
TLR Opportunities: KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
1-on-1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level
You must be able to work as part of a large team of Humanities Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback
