We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented GEO-ICT Architect to join our team in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between geospatial technology and information architecture, driving digital transformation in areas such as energy transition, integrated supply chain, public order and security, and smart cities.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain comprehensive GEO-ICT architectures that align with organisational goals and technological advancements
Provide expert advice on targeted information provision, including Digital Twin concepts and insight creation
Design and oversee the implementation of geospatial information systems and infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GEO-ICT solutions into broader enterprise architectures
Analyse complex spatial data requirements and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs
Create and maintain documentation for GEO-ICT architectures, including diagrams, models, and technical specifications
Monitor and guide the transition from current (IST) to future (SOLL) GEO-ICT environments
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the GEO-ICT domain and share knowledge with colleagues and clients
Participate in expert groups and contribute to the continuous learning and development of the practice
Engage with clients to understand their unique challenges and propose tailored GEO-ICT solutions
Requirements:
HBO or WO education in IT or a related field
Proven experience as a GEO-ICT Architect or similar role in large organisations
In-depth knowledge of architecture domains, including methods, modelling techniques, tools, and models
Certifications or equivalent knowledge in TOGAF Practitioner, NORA, or DAMA-DMBOK
Proficiency with ESRI, FME, and coordinate systems
Familiarity with basic registrations such as BAG and BGT
Extensive experience in information, application, and technical architecture
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, politically sensitive development and implementation processes
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and spatial data management
Experience with cloud-based GIS solutions and data integration standards
Pragmatic communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
Fluency in Dutch (required) and English (preferred)
Innovative mindset with a passion for pushing the boundaries of digital transformation
Analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Visionary outlook to anticipate future trends and requirements in the GEO-ICT field
What we offer:
A permanent contract
A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €6,000 (based on 40 hours per week)
