Job Description:

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) of Jacksonville, Florida, is actively seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist to join our distinguished Cancer Medicine faculty. This position will support the growth of our multidisciplinary Genitourinary Oncology Program.

Job Responsibility:

  • Will be our GU lead and will partner with our 4 urologists to grow the multidisciplinary program
  • Demonstrate a commitment to our patient-centered multidisciplinary integrated model of cancer care including participation in quality improvement and research programs
  • Fully support the clinical, scholarly, and research missions of our program including developing standard protocols for patient care, improving quality metrics and scholarly/research activities

Requirements:

  • PhD or Doctor of Medicine
  • Licensed Physician - Board of Medicine
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License - DOJ
  • Driver's License - DMV
  • 3+ years medical oncology experience preferred
  • Board-eligible or Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology (and Oncology)
  • Unrestricted Florida Medical License
  • Have, or be eligible for, certification in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine
  • Have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License & DEA license
  • Be recommended for an adjunct academic appointment at UTMDACC, commensurate with clinical and scholarly achievements

  • Passion, communication, interpersonal skills and collaboration required to build an active clinical practice and develop areas of productive scholarship
