Labcorp is seeking an onsite Genetic Counselor to join our team to support a busy Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide onsite prenatal genetic counseling services for MFM practice in Los Angeles, CA
  • Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications from an extensive referral base
  • Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications, physician education and other projects

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling
  • American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGC

Nice to have

  • 2 years or more experience as a certified Genetic Counselor
  • 1 year or more experience of prenatal or reproductive Genetic Counseling
  • Highly organized, including excellent time management skills
  • Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong computer skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
