Generator Field Service Technician

• Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, warranty/campaign service, preventative maintenance, and equipment modifications of Generac industrial products
• Gain proficiency in use of tools and standard procedures
• Perform scheduled inspections on equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on equipment
• Train and educate customers on the use of equipment
• Follow established expectations for communicating with Dispatch
• Maintain company vehicle and associated inventory
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed
• Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Mechanical / Electrical aptitude
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License
• 1+ Year of Customer Service experience
• 1+ Year of experience in electrical and mechanical repair, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Experience utilizing Generac, Cummins, Onan, Kohler, and/or CAT generators is preferred
