Generative Experiences Sciences Intern

This internship is a collaboration between Microsoft Research Cambridge and the OneDrive and SharePoint (ODSP) Applied Science team, bringing together research and product perspectives to explore the future of AI assisted content creation. The MSR Cambridge People-Centric AI team focuses on how AI can empower people in their work and daily lives, and ODSP Applied Science drives innovation in how users create, organize, and interact with their content across Microsoft products. Together, the teams are exploring new forms of dynamic content and generative user experiences that adapt to individual users’ context, roles, and preferences. We encourage applications from candidates with backgrounds in human-computer interaction, interaction design, or related fields who are excited about the intersection of AI, creativity, and user-centred design. During the internship, you will collaborate with researchers and product teams to explore novel interaction paradigms for AI assisted content authoring. The scope of the project will be shaped by both the team’s research direction and your interests and expertise. Interns are expected to present their work internally at the end of the internship and to contribute to research outputs suitable for submission to leading academic venues.
