Job Description

This entry-level position involves inspecting pre-cooked or post-cooked food products entering or exiting the cooker, monitoring frozen products in the pack-off area, and stacking finished product cases onto specified pallets.

Job Responsibility

  • Inspecting pre-cooked or post-cooked food products entering or exiting the cooker
  • monitoring frozen products in the pack-off area
  • stacking finished product cases onto specified pallets
  • communicating production issues to team members
  • inspecting products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • disposing of non-compliant products
  • communicating with leadership as needed
  • adhering to company standards and safety regulations
  • reporting all injuries, unsafe conditions, and acts
  • using proper lifting techniques
  • using mechanical assistance (handjack, forklift, manlift)
  • using personal assistance (team lift for products above 50lb.)
  • using handrails
  • using and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of Manufacturing Experience
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and self-driven
  • Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred
  • Good communication skills
