General Technician

• Perform general maintenance functions under the direction of a building technician or technician in charge
• Perform air conditioning maintenance, filter changing/cleaning
• Monitor all air conditioning and refrigeration units in the physical plant
• Assist with general maintenance, construction, and repairs to the physical plant and building
• Conduct preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling towers, package ice machines, central air handlers, and water pumps

• 3+ years of general maintenance experience
• EPA Certification
• Knowledge of schematics and blueprints, electrical distribution, refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers, and cooling towers
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Successful candidate will be required to join the NABET Local 53

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade school certificate or equivalent
• Plumbing experience and general knowledge of building energy management systems
