Job Responsibility
Support the Class Teacher with daily classroom preparation, resource management, and maintaining a positive learning environment
Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to boost pupil engagement and progress in core subjects like Reading, Writing, and Maths
Promote inclusion by supporting children of all abilities, including those with mild SEND or English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Supervise outdoor play and lunchtime activities, ensuring student safety and encouraging positive social interaction
Be a positive role model, fostering the emotional and social well-being of the children
Requirements
Previous experience working with children (school settings, tutoring, youth clubs, or coaching)
A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic personality with a "can-do" attitude
Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly within a team
A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one through us)
