Job Description:

A Medical Center in Bellingham, WA, is actively seeking a dedicated General Surgery Physician to provide additional coverage during a scheduling gap. This role involves rounding and managing surgical admissions during 12-hour restricted and unrestricted shifts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and coordinate general surgery admissions
  • Respond to surgical consults during the shift
  • Provide rounding support for post-operative and level 3 trauma cases
  • 12-hour unrestricted shifts (provider is not required to stay on-site but must be available via pager)

Requirements:

  • Active Washington State License
  • Proficiency in EPIC is highly preferred
  • Board Certification in General Surgery
  • ATLS Certification
