Job Responsibility

  • Supervise all field operations, including paving crews, milling crews, mass grading crews, and utility crews (storm drain, water, sewer, and pipe)
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on job sites
  • Coordinate between different crews to optimize workflow and resource allocation
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
  • Provide leadership and support to a team of at least 200 employees, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a General Superintendent in the asphalt paving industry
  • Proven track record of supervising large teams in heavy highway construction
  • Strong working knowledge of heavy highway construction equipment and related operations
  • Proficient in computer applications and office software for project management
  • Thorough understanding of US and/or State DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations regarding roadway construction projects.
