Job Description

General site operative for Holcim at Glensanda Quarry. Temporary full-time role, working 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm, one week on one week off. Rate: £18.00-£19.00 per hour.

Job Responsibility

  • General site maintenance
  • Cleaning spillages from under the production lines
  • Moving site waste using a wheel barrow
  • Use of on site machinery if valid tickets are held
  • Practising the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times

Requirements

  • Ability to conduct manual handling
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Previous labouring experience
  • Some knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
  • Driving licence and use of a car is desirable due to location of the site, however, public transport is available.
