Job Description:

General Science Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for General Science Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of schools in Norwich and nearby areas, delivering engaging science lessons and supporting pupils’ learning across KS3 and KS4.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver pre-planned science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners and school environments
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with school staff to support pupil development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching science in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Passionate about science and committed to pupil progress
