General Science Teachers – Full-time or Part-time, Flexible Supply Roles, Starting ASAP. These flexible opportunities are ideal for General Science Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Teignmouth and the surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging science lessons that inspire curiosity and maintain continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to learning
  • Uphold safeguarding and health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching science in secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage learners
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Flexible and resilient, with a commitment to inclusive education
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
