Job Description

General Science Teacher – Part-time, temporary role from October 2026 to July 2027 The inspection report highlights a positive and well‑organised secondary school environment where pupils benefit from clear routines and purposeful teaching. Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging General Science lessons across the secondary curriculum
  • Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to a range of abilities
  • Follow existing schemes of work and curriculum guidance

Requirements

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching General Science at secondary level
  • Confident teaching across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Organised, flexible, and reliable approach
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Willingness to commit to a part-time role for the full duration of the contract
