Job Description

General Sales Manager position at Vertu Nissan Halifax. We are offering a £45,000 basic salary with an OTE of £65,000 plus company car and company benefits. Duties include leading and managing a controlled sales process, becoming a Nissan ambassador, driving performance, maintaining customer interaction, supporting team development, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing sales campaigns, upholding ethical standards, and utilising customer base to drive volume.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a controlled sales process through a team including Business Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues
  • Become a Nissan ambassador, build and maintain relationships with the brand to improve new car performance
  • Drive performance through regular coaching, robust management and strong day-to-day leadership
  • Maintain constant customer interaction, with first and second facing activity at the heart of the role
  • Support and develop the team to sell new and used vehicles, along with a range of add-on products including finance
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are delivered at all times
  • Manage all sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales performance
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards across all sales activity
  • Utilise the dealership’s loyal customer base and wide regional catchment to drive volume, develop the team and deliver consistently strong results
