Job Description:

Marriott International is looking for a General Runner to contribute to memorable guest experiences by delivering items to rooms, supporting various departments, and ensuring operational efficiency. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, physical capability, and adherence to standards while working in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver items directly to guests in their rooms or provide support to various departments like housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and front office
ensure smooth operations throughout the hotel
ensure a safe workplace and follow company policies and procedures
maintain confidentiality and uphold quality standards
ensure uniform, appearance, and communication are professional
perform physically demanding tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, and inspecting tools and machines.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience required
no supervisory experience required
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 55 pounds
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to work in narrow or elevated spaces
ability to visually verify information in small print
ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
