Job Description:

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our Strikes Garden Centre. As a General Retail Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

Job Responsibility:

  • Till operation and serving customer
  • Stock replenishment and merchandising across all department
  • Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
  • Assisting our customer across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
  • Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets

Requirements:

  • Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
  • Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential as full training will be given
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great teamwork
  • Hardworking
  • Shift flexibility including weekends
  • The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
