Job Description:

Join our team at Kingspan Century in Monaghan. Are you a motivated individual looking for a rewarding career in manufacturing? Kingspan Century Ltd is currently seeking General Operatives for their timber frame system manufacturing company based in Monaghan and Carrickmacross. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will contribute to our off site solutions by working on an assembly line in a controlled factory environment to produce internal and external walls, roofs and floors.

Job Responsibility:

Operate equipment and automated machinery used in production processes – such as C&C machinery and woodworking machinery
Read and follow production drawings and specifications (AutoCAD and HSB)
Use a variety of hand and power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, saws, nail guns etc)
Ensure that in the role the following needs are met in terms of quality, cost and safety
Willing to be trained in all areas of the manufacturing business whatever line and area this may be
Responsible for constant monitoring of all aspects of Health and Safety, near miss and safety concern reporting
Good communication skills and able to understand spoken English well
Proactive and hands-on approach to factory operations, with a strong focus on implementing safety standards and best practices
Skilled in troubleshooting production processes and driving continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
Consistently meets performance goals and project deadlines through effective time management and focus

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a factory/manufacturing process environment
Experience of working shifts
Effective communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work as a team
Safety Conscious and consistently follows safety protocol
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a timber frame manufacturing facility
Ability to read manufacturing drawings
Basic understanding of touch screen technology
FLT license holder
Saw training
