We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused General Office Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. This role involves assisting with registration processes and providing support during a trade show event. Job Responsibility:
Assist attendees with registration by utilizing computer systems to locate information and print name badges
Guide unregistered attendees through the registration process to ensure a smooth and efficient experience
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving any issues during the event
Operate computers at the entrance to facilitate attendee check-ins and badge printing
Maintain a neat and presentable appearance and adhere to the business casual dress code
Support event staff with organizational tasks and ensure the front entrance runs smoothly
Offer clear and friendly communication to attendees to create a welcoming atmosphere
Collaborate with team members to address any on-site challenges promptly
Requirements:
Proficiency in using computers and navigating registration software
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with attendees
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling registration information
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
Familiarity with event or trade show settings is a plus
Willingness to adhere to the business casual dress code
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
