We are looking for a detail-oriented General Office Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Centennial, Colorado. This role involves a mix of organizational tasks, packing, and assisting with order fulfillment to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a physically active environment and is comfortable managing inventory and preparing shipments.
Job Responsibility:
Organize and pack inventory for shipment to various locations, ensuring proper labeling and secure packaging
Assist with fulfilling customer orders by preparing packages and applying shipping labels
Place boxes of files and inventory onto pallets, securely wrapping them for pickup and transportation
Move and arrange pre-packed inventory boxes within the office as needed
Scan and organize important documents and files for efficient record-keeping
Provide general back-office support to maintain a well-organized workspace
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by managing packing materials and supplies
Requirements:
Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds
Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods
Experience with document scanning and file organization
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow packing and shipping instructions
Basic understanding of inventory management and shipping processes
Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
Previous experience in a general office or warehouse setting is preferred
