We are looking for a dedicated General Office Clerk to join our team in Winthrop, Maine. This contract position will run for about a month, with the potential for an extension.
Job Responsibility:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files to ensure smooth workflow
Perform accurate data entry to support administrative and operational tasks
Operate multi-line phone systems to manage calls and direct them appropriately
Assist with tax season administrative duties, including document preparation and filing
Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines and goals are met
Maintain an organized and detail-oriented workspace to optimize productivity
Support the office in day-to-day operations, including scheduling and correspondence
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all tasks
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles
Proficiency in organizing files, both physical and digital
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with operating multi-line phone systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliability and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Basic knowledge of office software and systems
